The Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator course is intended for individuals who have significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator, including hands-on experience applying the skills and concepts in the exam outline in the Salesforce Study Guide.
Who is this course for?
The Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator course is intended for individuals who have significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator, including hands-on experience applying the skills and concepts in the exam outline in the Salesforce Study Guide. You will create your own Developer Org at the start of the course so you will have complete control over your Salesforce environment and you can’t break anything. (We don’t want you learning in your day-to-day Production environment.)
Are there any Prerequisites?
You must complete the Salesforce Administrator Certification exam first to be able to sit for the Salesforce Advanced Administrator exam.
What does the course cover?
You will learn the following topics at an advanced level: Security and Access, Extending Custom Objects and Applications, Auditing and Monitoring, Sales Cloud Applications, Service Cloud Applications, Data Management, Content Management, Change Management, Analytics, Reports and Dashboards, and Process Automation.
We finish up with a major project where you can test your new skills to build an App to meet the challenges of a fictional company “Certify Home Services”, a new home services company. It is a national company, headquartered in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. There is a branch office in each of the five largest states and numerous franchised businesses delivering the services within each state. The company provides a wide range of home services including: Garden Maintenance, Cleaning, General Maintenance, Pool Services, Technology, Rubbish Services, Pest Control, Furniture Removal, Car Services, and Pet Services.
The company has just purchased Salesforce to help manage all customer interactions with the business. As the new Salesforce Administrator, you have a lot of work to do to prepare the Salesforce environment for the business launch. The company wants to take advantage of many of the advanced features of Salesforce including Territory Management, Products, Price Books, Schedules, Orders, Quotes, Forecasting, Service Cloud features (Cases, Knowledge, Content, Service Console), custom profiles, permission sets, delegated administration, advanced reporting and dashboards. As the Salesforce Administrator, you will need to be on top of your game to be able to implement these advanced features.
